Transformers Dark of the Moon goes on general release in the UK and Ireland this week and, as is common these days, it’s been showing in several cinemas since yesterday.

So we all know that Megan Fox has been replaced by Rosie Huntington Whiteley as the “belle” of the film.

New Irish Anti-Piracy Campaign Launched

2 Comments 15 June 2011

YouMaketheMovie.ieThe Industry Trust For IP Awareness has launched a new anti-piracy campaign.

Conscious of the negative imagery and messaging found in most of the anti-piracy campaigns the group has instead opted to thank the public for supporting the Irish film industry. (Ironically the site is hosted in the US, so they obviously don’t feel like supporting the Irish digital industry .. )

The campaign’s official site includes the three adverts that they’ll be using, though for some stupid reason you can’t embed or share them!

You can read more about the official launch on the IFTN site

BluRay Trilogy Bargain – Back to the Future

Comments Off 13 June 2011

It’s not often that you can find a good trilogy boxset at a reasonable price.

Finding it on bluray is pretty much impossible.

However, for some odd reason, you can get the Back to the Future trilogy on blu-ray at the moment for only $14.99 (plus shipping)

That’s less than $5 / film (blu-ray), which is damn good and with the current Euro < > Dollar rates even when you add shipping fees it still works out to be cheap!
