Angelina Jolie has given birth to twins.
According to news reports the twins, a boy and a girl, are to be named Vivienne Marcheline and Knox Leon.
Ms Jolie gave birth in a hospital in France.
Brad Pitt is reported to have been present for the birth.
In an interesting twist the couple have sold the rights to the photos of the babies for US$11 million which they intend to donate to charity.
