Irish film Kings, starring Colm Meaney, is the first Irish entry in the Foreign Language Film Oscar.
The full list of entrants for the 80th Academy Awards was released earlier today and includes entries from 63 countries.
This year marks the first year that entries have been received from Ireland and Azerbaijan.
