Blade Runner is being re-released on DVD, Blu Ray and HD DVD during the month of December.
Unfortunately it’s not at all clear which edition to buy!
Warner Brothers have setup a special promotional site where you can download wallpapers, IM icons and other stuff to spice up your desktop, but they haven’t made choosing between the various editions any easier.
Amazon, on the other hand, have created a basic guide to choosing the “correct” edition:

You can choose from a two disc version, four disc version or even the five disc version in collectible briefcase (shown below)!
To add to the confusion some of the editions don’t seem to be available on Amazon’s UK outlet yet and may not be.
Personally I’m having a really hard time making up my mind, as it would definitely be worth my while getting the blu ray version if I only had some way of playing it.
