Several media sources are carrying reports of a fire on Universal Studios backlot this morning.
It’s not clear if anyone has been injured or if any filming was going on at the time.

Fox News is reporting that several buildings have been damaged and that the film fault itself might be in danger.

Back to The Future Set Destroyed in Fire
The fire in Universal Studios that I mentioned yesterday did not claim any lives. Unfortunately it did result in the destruction of the Back to the Future town square set….

There were the 4 large explosions at 4 to 4:30 BEFORE the fire that woke the surrounding city up. Since Sunday morning the media has stopped asking about them. This idea that all these buildings burned from a blow-torch on shingles on the wooden facade doesn’t explain how it jumped between so many unconnected buildings over such a wide area. It’s as if 4 seperate explosions went off to start the fire.
