Sin City, which was widely acclaimed for its visual effects at the time of its release in 2005, is finally being released on bluray this week.
While the bluray version of the film is getting its US release this week, while Europeans will have to wait some more before being able to get their hands on it. (Or they could simply import it ..)
So what’s in this release?
Apart from the obvious high definition treatment the audio is delivered in DTS-HD (48kHz / 24bit).
There’s also a load of extra features spread across the two discs and unlike a lot of recent releases there are two discs of actual content, instead of there being a disc plus a digital copy. Amazon’s editorial team have some good details on it.
