The first photo from the upcoming James Bond 007 film starring Daniel Craig was released by the studio earlier today.
It’s probably been posted and shared across hundreds of sites (I know I already did here), but it’s one of those things that I feel obliged to share here as well

Irish actor Liam Neeson in Star Wars The Phantom Menace
It looks like they’ve found yet another way to milk some more profits out of the Star Wars franchise.
We’ve had multiple cuts of the original films, a series of prequels that explained the origins of the myth to a new generation of viewers.
We’ve had bluray.. now we have 3D cinema re-releases.

The official trailer for the Dark Knight Rises has been doing the rounds today.
It’s dark. It’s the final instalment in Christopher Nolan’s vision of Dark Knight.
It’s got a very beautiful Anne Hathaway in it.

The upcoming James Bond film was finally given a title last week – SkyFall

We all know that Daniel Craig will be playing James Bond, but as in any James Bond release we’re always going to be intrigued by a couple of the other fixtures – the girls, the villains and the gadgets.
I suspect we’ll have to wait a while before we find out more about the gadgets – since the franchise “reboot” they haven’t been quite as prominent.
But the new Bond girl is already a known entity – French actress Bérénice Marlohe.

Bérénice Marlohe is a French actress and model who seems to have done mostly TV work to date. She’s on Twitter as well
Who else is in the cast this time round?
Spanish actor Javier Bardem, Penelope Cruz’ husband, has been cast as the main villain

Jason Statham has starred in three Transporter films to date. His character, Frank Martin, is a tough customer with a heart. So while he kicks ass for most of the films you also know that he’s not evil .. or something.. like a 21st century Robin Hood or something .. (though he doesn’t steal anything, so maybe Robin Hood isn’t the right choice .. )
The films are all made by Luc Besson’s Europa Corp – one of those odd companies that combines French chic with Hollywood know-how to create a rather mixed, yet successful, combination of box office hits
