Short films (shorts) are a very special kind of film. It’s not simply a matter of making a film that last only a few minutes, but of making a complete “story” or “narrative” that is incredibly compact. A full length “feature” can be anything from just over 60 minutes to in excess of 180 minutes, while a “short” could be literally seconds long.
The short film “Blu Runner”, which was made by graduates of IADT is under 4 minutes in length, but will probably bring a smile to many a film buff’s face.
