While some of the back catalogue releases of blu-ray discs are “nice” a lot of them aren’t exactly inspiring. The bluray format can really bring a film to life if the transfer quality is good and the producers go to the trouble of taking advantage of what can be done…
Some of the upcoming releases do their best to take full advantage.
Two that spring to mind are the anniversary edition of The Matrix and the collector’s edition of Terminator (if nothing else it looks really cool!)
